An Amateur Radio Club for American Red Cross
ARC squared, or ARC2, is an Amateur Radio Club for assisting the American Red Cross.
Our base station, NJ2RC is located in the Disaster Operations Center of the American Red Cross Northern New Jersey Regional chapter in Fairfield, NJ. The Radio Room is manned during a disaster by ARC squared members who have amateur radio licenses.
ARC squared provides reliable communications to support chapter disaster relief operations, and enables interoperability with other agencies and the State and County OEM.
