Each year on the last full weekend in June, Amateur Radio Operators hold an exercise called Field Day.
ARC2 and WEARC conduct Field Day operations in the garage area of the Fairfield Red Cross facility.
This is a Emergency Operation Center facility so we operate under those rules.
We operate from 2 PM on Saturday to 2 PM on Sunday.
We run a GOTA (Get On The Air) station and have a Satellite station.
The operation is open to the general public, especially scouts or youth clubs.
