The West Essex Amateur Radio Club (WEARC) focuses on social and emergency efforts. WEARC welcomes all HAMs.
WEARC offers members a social setting to explore technical curiosity, operating skills, mentorship, and public service. The club’s activities include on-the-air operating, ARRL Field Day, kit building and homebrew projects, mentoring, emergency and public-event communications, weekly online meetings, and recurring community nets.
WEARC also offers online VE sessions, hosts occasional transmitter (fox) hunts, and organizes portable activations to provide a hands-on introduction to off-grid HF setup and field operation.
For those seeking not merely to join a club, but to become part of an active community of capable operators who value both the craft and the camaraderie of amateur radio, WEARC offers an exceptional place to begin.
Members of WEARC are automatically members of ARC Squared.
